The Israel Lacrosse Association has announced a partnership with Amazing Israel to offer a 10 day trip to experience Israel in June 2014. In addition to touring the country, participants will help grow the game by teaching young children and participating in exhibition games against the national teams.
The ten day trip will be limited to 20 men and women who are either active players or recent graduates of an NCAA sanctioned lacrosse program. Players with club lacrosse experience will also be considered. The visit is designed around giving players opportunity to experience Israel while promoting grassroots development of lacrosse throughout Israel.
Taglit-Birthright Israel is a not-for-profit educational organization that sponsors free ten-day heritage trips to Israel for Jewish young adults, aged 18-26. Taglit is the Hebrew word for discovery. During their trip, participants, most of whom are visiting Israel for the first time, are encouraged to discover new meaning in their personal Jewish identity and connection to Jewish history and culture.
