The CBS Sports Network announced that it will televise 8 Patriot League men’s lacrosse games as well as one Patriot League women’s game during the 2014 season. The televised lacrosse schedule will make its premiere on Sunday, March 9th with Duke visiting Loyola in a rematch of the 2013 NCAA Tournament.
CBS Sports Network’s coverage of the Patriot League will continue on Thursday April 17th, when Bucknell visits Loyola at Ridley in a key league battle at 7pm. A day later, the Network will air another big rivalry matchup when Navy hosts Johns Hopkins at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis Md at 7pm.
For the sixth consecutive year, CBS Sports Network will televise the semifinal and championship rounds of the Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Tournament. The semifinals are set for Friday, April 25 at 4:30 and 7:30 pm, while the championship game is schedule for Sunday, April 27th at 1 pm. All three games will be hosted by the tournament’s No. 1 seed, which goes to the team with the best regular season record in League play. The winner earns an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.
